despite the { english } weather's best attempts to convince us otherwise, sUmmer is here & all the littleOnes have only a short time left at school before they finish for the holiday's . my mUm was a teacher & the end of the school year was something to look forward to as she came home laden with ' thankyOu ' gifts . chocolates & flowers & smelly's & a few more chocolates were the most usual presents . although i think if she was still teaching now i wonder if the gifts might be a little more inventive & varied .
